Lila's Preschool Graduation
Lila had her "Completion Ceremony" from preschool this past week. I knew that it was going to be adorable, but I wasn 't fully prepared at how emotional I would be. My heart was bursting with joy and saddness all at once! How could my baby girl be so big already? A week after we moved to Pittsburgh, Lila was born. I knew that she would be nearly five when we were ready to leave Pittsburgh, but that seemed an eternity away. Now, I see her and she is not a baby any more. She is a very grown up, capable, kind girl. Time goes so quickly.
Lila has had a terrific year. She has learned so many things, made sweet little friends and bonded with an amazing teacher, Mrs. Judson.
You are such a joy and blessing, my sweet Lila Rose.

Some Cute Pictures
Tea Party
The day before Grandma went home we treated ourselves to a genuine tea party at Soergels Farm. We had so much fun getting all fancy and enjoying blueberry scones, fruit, little sandwiches and the best lady fingers and brownies ever. Lila was just giddy with delight. Caleb, had a great time too.... just don't tell Talmage. Haha
"Just Ducky Tour"
We took Grandma Kathy on a Just Ducky tour around Pittsburgh. It was so fun and adventurous. We started on the streets and bridges of Pittsburgh and then found ourselves diving into the Ohio River. Each of the the kids got to steer the "boat". They thought that was very cool. FYI - Did you know that in Pittsburgh alone there are over 400 bridges?!!

Happy Birthday To Me!
I had such a fun day celebrating my 35th birthday with my mom, who is visiting from Utah, and my family. The highlight of the day came when we could dig into my Tres Leche birthday cake. It was sooooo yummy! My mom and I made it earlier that morning so that it would have all day to absorb the cream. Wow, was it good! I think this was a start of a new brithday tradition.
Another trip to Washington DC
We had another fun weekend in Washington DC. Our Nephew, James Hancock, earned his Eagle Scout and we were able to be there for his Court of Honor. It was awesome. Way to go James! We are so proud of you! Also, it was so wonderful to see Mom Shill (she was up celebrating her 50th high school reunion!) talk about good timing. What fun!
