We had a wonderful rain storm the other day. Clouds rolled in, the wind howled, lightening sparked and the rain pounded. When we lived in Pittsburgh, I didn't love rain storms because it rained every day and when there was a thunderstorm, it felt like it was 20 ft. over your house. Scary! But here, it is delightful. I would welcome more - if they came. After the storm, we walked out to see a beautiful rainbow right above our home. We felt like it was a gift.Thursday, September 17, 2009
Somewhere UNDER the Rainbow
We had a wonderful rain storm the other day. Clouds rolled in, the wind howled, lightening sparked and the rain pounded. When we lived in Pittsburgh, I didn't love rain storms because it rained every day and when there was a thunderstorm, it felt like it was 20 ft. over your house. Scary! But here, it is delightful. I would welcome more - if they came. After the storm, we walked out to see a beautiful rainbow right above our home. We felt like it was a gift.
