Peach Coffee Cake With Cream

Wow! Talk about comfort food. This was so yummy. My neighbor gave me a big bushel of peaches and so I have been experimenting in the kitchen with new "peach" recipes. This is a delicious Coffee Cake that has a layer of peaches in the center. After it was done cooking, I dished it up with some more fresh peaches on top and a little cream. DELICIOUS! This pan was empty within minutes!

This looks incredibly delicious. Peach is my favorite, and I haven't made a coffee cake in such a long time!

Woah! You're killing me. I too had an abundance of peaches. I thought I'd try a random peach cobbler recipe off the internet. It would have gone better if would have baked instead of broiled it. (I've only been in my house six years--stil getting used to the ovens.) This was a sorry sight. Jonathan's words exactly: "Mom, it actually wasn't THAT bad."

I want THAT recipe.

btw: I think the most amazing peach thing I've ever had was made by Katrina's sister-in-law. Some kind of peach pie without cooking the peaches.

So funny you would tell me about the no bake peach pie. I put one in the fridge just a little while ago. I will let you know how it turns out tonight after it has had a chance to chill.
